Our Process
While it is possible for Corporate Video Productions to produce a professional video on a tight budget, each production really needs to be costed individually. For the benefit of clients and to help establish budgets, we usually break down our production costs into four separate areas (see below). We have been using this process for twenty years, and believe it allows clients to not only track the progress of their video, but also to see where and how their money is being spent.
1. PRE-PRODUCTION
This includes briefings/meetings, research, survey and confirmation of shooting locations/interviews, preparation of graphics & script-writing.
2. PRODUCTION
Covers the costs of DV/HDV filming (or other format as required) a director/producer fee, purchase of video tapes and travel & accommodation (if required)
3. POST PRODUCTION
These costs are for all the work done after filming is completed ie. editing, final design of computer graphics, voice over fee, mastering and uploading files for websites as required, music and audio production.
4. DUPLICATION
The final cost is for the duplication of the completed video (or DVD) and for the design and printing of the colour insert.
